Consciousness vs. Responsiveness
If we are ever to reach a “golden age”, it will take a conscious effort. Meaning that; simply responding appropriately to stimuli is not enough. We must use consciousness to allow us to step outside of our reactions in order to see a more complete picture and enable us to act on awareness rather than the relative sensational responses. It will require a majority of our conscious efforts to even begin to move in that direction. It seems to be a battle between consciousness and responsiveness. Right now we are dominated by responsiveness which has led us through many wonderful and horrible places. I wonder where consciousness will lead us. We have yet to grasp the concept collectively, so we can only wonder until we walk the path.
Priceless
The things in life which cannot be measured or sampled in a lab are equivalent to the term; priceless.
Focal Point
Focus less on having things
Focus more on experiencing things.
Well, as long as we are justified…
We cannot violently enforce peace into the world just the way we cannot violently enforce peace into our own hearts. True peace will have to be nourished. We definitely do not understand this yet. Maybe it is because we feel justified in our actions. Just remember that backwards rationalization is dependant on justifications to make us feel better about acting irrational. Break free from this mental prison of hopelessness and know peace in yourself. Mirror it to others so they can find the courage to do the same. It starts inside you.
Ocean of the Defined
I am swimming in an ocean of defined people with defined realities and they think I am behind or underneath their intelligence because I don’t know their definitions as my own truth. I only see potential, there are no definitions. The only truth to me is the result of what we choose to believe.
Appealing Annoyance
Wine is fashionably complicated, like a beautiful woman. There is an elegant appeal to the sometimes annoying complexity and we can’t deny that we wish it to be so.
Unlimited Fulfillment
Life is too short to live in a hurry. Experience every moment for all its worth and you will never have a reason to feel the slightest bit empty.
Enable the Super-Consumers
Success should not be measured by the luxuries you obtained during the miracle of your existence. This is easy to agree with, yet extremely difficult to live by. It takes the realization that; what our culture obligates us to chase is not what gives us peace in our hearts. When peace is not in our hearts, it can not exist in our lives. Sustain yourself and meet your needs, but chase something greater than the same super-consumer dream we are all constantly being fed.
Dominant Truth
We can choose whether to be; humans in love with each other, or assets in fear of each other. These are relative truths, meaning there is potential for both truths to be manifested. Whichever truth becomes further manifested will project dominance over the other. Which truth do you feel is dominant in yourself and the people around you?
