Feeling is believing

When telling people how amazing they truly are, they will pretend to believe you. This is because hearing is not believing and neither is seeing. Believing is feeling and everything else is a means to get there.

Not My Enemy…

Last night i followed a mysterious old man through shallow water. He led me to an island and told me the people were praying for this land. I gazed at the beautiful island in awe as the old man continued walking out of sight. There were a few trees growing up through the flowing tall grass that glistened in the light rays shining through the mountains of clouds drifting overhead. My trance was broken by a large black fish that was so large i could see neither head nor tail. Fearfully I climbed onto the island to escape the danger but the fish began to flap wildly against the shore. The land shook and rocked forward and back until it flipped completely over like a flap jack.  The beautiful land was now a lifeless muddy plain. The fish was there and had grown legs and was much smaller so i ran toward him with violent intentions. Just then, the old man appeared and said the fish was not my enemy. Then I woke up. I would love to hear interpretations…

Oh great leaders, I regret to inform you that you are losing the support of your followers. We have given you the benefit of the doubt for many decades now, but the evidence of your intentions has become very clear. If you wish to remain in place you will have to prove that you are in place to serve the well being of the people. Our voices are being silenced by the money that serves your interests and the interests of the corporations who bought you out under the table. You say this is just the way it works and we should all occupy a job. How do you suppose we should feel about your request? Our request is that you simply represent the people instead of the money. That is reasonable and realistic. Your request is that we silence ourselves and accept being monitored through highly advanced surveillance tools that we paid for through taxes. You request that we support and pay for violent wars that continue long after self defense is non existent. You request that we do not rally together for what we believe in if it is a threat to your intentions. You request that we give up freedom of speech, our right to trial by jury, and our humanity and empathy toward nations of conflict. I regret to inform you that your requests reveal your fearful, hopeless, and power hungry mentality. We can see you and it is not pretty. Can you see yourself? Please correct your short comings of noble characteristics and we may thrive together. We still have hope in you, and that is why you still have your job. A job that is not for the least or the average, but reserved for the greatest and noblest. Thank you for hearing this.

Whoever you are

We have an unimaginable amount of options and choices at any given moment.  The oppositions we face that deny our options and choices do not simply dictate our identity, they challenge us to overcome them so our true identity can be revealed to us.  We do have choice, unless we believe we are weak and not clever.
What if we believed that this was it?  Life is school and marriage, definitions and labels, Popes and Presidents, war and television, fashion and fame and all those other things we have accepted as our reality.  Internal transformation is not measurable or probable so it can not exist as a “real” thing.  Your sense is the illusion.  What is taught, glorified, and valued is real.  We are just consumers, this is life so get used to it and find your own comfy place within it.  Maybe we will hang out and get drunk sometimes.  This is what has been labeled as realistic thinking somehow.  Realistically speaking, it is actually hopeless thinking and does not encourage healthy growth.  More and more medication is being prescribed to children to get them to accept the hopeless world they are born into.  But that energy still burns deep down.  They can’t snuff it out with injected chemicals and constant media influence.  We know that our true identities are not based on this empty system of carrot holders and chasers.
We are being taught on manufacturing lines here in America and many other countries.  We are filled with content that we sling everywhere without knowing why.  What is our point?  Are we looking for admiration or is it self validation?  Is it to gain or to give?  Do we have no message in a time like this?  Is it really just this and that and chit chat for us?  Have we traded our sense for a definition because we believe that is all we have the capacity for?  Were we made for this system or has this system made us?
We are hardly taught to seek understanding of who we are and why we do what we do.  If we had been, maybe we would see that our true identities are not just stupid civilians who can’t even follow the rules.  We don’t have to be hopeless sinners waiting on death to bring us to heaven.  We are living by rule instead of law.   We seek external heavens of golden everythings instead of being in heaven through loving ourselves and each other.  It actually is that simple.  It takes specifics and details to construct the lies that lead us away from love and a better way of life.
Knowing oneself is good for clarity but it might not be inherit or automatic under certain social structures.  It can take serious effort and a type of humble honesty mixed with courage in the dark to make it through the frightening and clever defenses of the constructed self.  If your capacity for creating is large, then you will be mighty impressed with the elaborateness of your work, should you face it.  Until the mind can detach itself from that identity it will continue to operate on that frequency.  It is still able to be creative and intelligent, but only to benefit and solidify its false identity.
If you have ever been in a predicament that led you to accepting that you were about to die then you have probably felt what it means to really let go of your constructed identity.  None of that matters for a moment and you can catch a glimpse of yourself for as long as you believe your constructed identity is no longer needed.  That is the liberating part, when you realize the wasted effort in projecting a false identity to people that need to see you in order to see themselves.
