Conditioned to Benefit the System

Do you believe that your not being poisoned? Do you believe your mind is not subjected to constant sophisticated mind control techniques? Do you believe your existence makes sense as a mega consumer? Our minds are conditioned to benefit the system, which is clearly backwards. Stop believing in a system which is justified by the failure it sets us up for.

Allegiance to the Politicians

Anybody our government pisses off will be labeled a terrorist and their anger will not effect the good citizens who pledge allegiance to the politicians.

Business as usual

We pay an entity to handle our larger problems and situations. This entity thrives on our dependency and has found ways to exploit that. The wars they send us to fight are not our wars, yet we all die for them and continue to pay our taxes like were told. We vote for smiling faces of empty promises to feed us our latest trending fear. We do it again and again. It’s just business as usual.

The Transformation of Population Control

It is worthwhile to learn about Edward Bernays, especially if you are reaching for greater self-awareness.  He is the guy who wrote the book on propaganda, literally.  He worked with our government, cigarette companies, and many other entities to transform the way people thought when it came to buying products, ideas, and even values.  He developed his techniques on the structure of his uncle, Sigmund Freud, psychological research and theories.  This is why advertisement appeals to our desires of sex in extreme ways with unrelated products.  The most amazing thing about it is how well it works, even still to today.  Ever since his revolutionary technique was introduced to the masses, the world of consumerism has been kicked into an uncontrollable over drive.  Everybody feels the anxiety of needing more things that we don’t need, even when we are aware that we don’t need it.  It has transformed our sense to believe that is the way to happiness and social acceptance.

That was the first great impact these techniques had, but there is more.

Edward Bernays worked with our government during the cold war.  At that time, the government was trying to figure out what to do about the masses level of fear.  Bernays suggested that their fears could be encouraged and manipulated to have the desired effects.  This is why communism became an exploited fear in the 1950s.  It was used against Guatemala with the help of C.I.A. agent Howard Hunt, and Bernays’ own news company, The Middle American Information Bureau.  Once the people believed Guatemala to be a threatening communistic neighbor, the bombs could drop without internal opposition.

These methods are still being used today.  Our desires and fears are strings that are easily pulled.  I can’t figure out whether it is unrealized by the masses or just accepted as our way of doing business.  Most of my friends are content with being absorbed by television and video games.  When I try to talk to them about things that clearly matter more than staring at flashing pixels, they make condescending remarks and label me as “one of THOSE guys”.  Meanwhile, people are suffering in ways unimaginable due to our ignorance and or apathy.  This is what people mean when they say that many people are not awake or aware.  If you take offense to that, then it means that deep down you know it to be true in yourself, but your constructed identity is defending itself.  Most of us are just a result of manipulation, and that is a hard reality to swallow.

Wake up.

Happy Memorial Day!

Today I have been thinking a lot about the soldiers from my old unit and how similar or different soldiers further back in history were.  Joining the Army was like joining a family.  We all had to overcome together and the mission was for everybody to make it.  There was no sense of climbing ladders and kicking others down while fighting to reach the top.  We were a genuine family.  I miss my old battle buddies and I will never forget the life experiences we helped each other through.  I think the soldiers in the past probably had similar experiences growing together to become an efficient family of defenders.  Much love to all who dedicate their lives to defending ours.  Never forget that it is you that they fight for and there should be nothing else worth the sacrifice.

Reserved for the Noblest

Oh great leaders, I regret to inform you that you are losing the support of your followers. We have given you the benefit of the doubt for many decades now, but the evidence of your intentions has become very clear. If you wish to remain in place you will have to prove that you are in place to serve the well being of the people. Our voices are being silenced by the money that serves your interests and the interests of the corporations who bought you out under the table. You say this is just the way it works and we should all occupy a job. How do you suppose we should feel about your request? Our request is that you simply represent the people instead of the money. That is reasonable and realistic. Your request is that we silence ourselves and accept being monitored through highly advanced surveillance tools that we paid for through taxes. You request that we support and pay for violent wars that continue long after self defense is non existent. You request that we do not rally together for what we believe in if it is a threat to your intentions. You request that we give up freedom of speech, our right to trial by jury, and our humanity and empathy toward nations of conflict. I regret to inform you that your requests reveal your fearful, hopeless, and power hungry mentality. We can see you and it is not pretty. Can you see yourself? Please correct your short comings of noble characteristics and we may thrive together. We still have hope in you, and that is why you still have your job. A job that is not for the least or the average, but reserved for the greatest and noblest. Thank you for hearing this.

Family Disputes

The leaders of nations plot and scheme behind closed doors. They strategize to gain or keep the upper hand. When conflicts appear, ultimatums are set and war is waged. There is little reason to trust in these games. They are like children who have yet to learn about conflict resolution. Ironically, the people act as the parents, shouting at the children to stop fighting and resolve the matter the right way. Stop being so attached to the toy in your hand and share with your brothers and sisters. Do not forget to love your brothers and sisters. Do not forget that they ARE your brothers and sisters, all of them. If one is angry with you, it is not right to combat that anger with greater anger. That will leave the situation unresolved and it will grow in strength over time. If we are ever to be a healthy family, we will first have to fully accept that we are, indeed, a family.
Much love to ALL who are suffering from the experiences of war. Things are going to change, inevitably. Let’s steer that change somewhere beautiful.
